Counselling for deep, intuitive feelers

What does the counselling process look like?

Exploring your sensitivity

Together, we gather information and background on what it was like growing up as a HSP. We explore what this looks like now, and identify particular challenges.

Understanding felt sense

As HSPs, our bodies feel our emotions deeply. Identifying these somatic sensations will give us more information on what you need when distressed or ovewhelmed.

Building self-compassion

HSPs have a history of being extremely hard on themselves, which amplifies criticisms we hear about ourselves. Introducing self-compassion is essential for communicating with our sensitive parts.

Finding your path

My goal is to help you find yourself. Together, we will find a realistic way to cope and build skills to keep you connected to your values while embracing your sensitivity.

The HSP trait

As a highly sensitive person, you may experience the following:

Feeling emotions deeply

Having sensory sensitivities (light/sound/texture)

Needing more down time after socializing

Having a rich imagination or innate creativity

Absorbing the emotions of others

Struggling with boundaries

Difficulty hearing criticism

Dislike of harsh language or violence in media

Deeply thoughtful and reflective

Notice subtleties easily
