I offer 15 minute free phone or video consultations. This allows you to learn more about my approach and discuss the type of support you are looking for. We might also:

I offer 50 minute virtual counselling sessions for one-to-one individualized support. Phone or video options are available.
Costs
$145 for 50 minutes
$200 for 75 minutes
Sliding Scale Sessions
I offer a select amount of sliding scale opportunities for individuals who cannot afford support otherwise.

ACT is a third-wave cognitive-behavioral approach to helping a person achieve psychological flexibility and acceptance of what is out of their control. Visit my specialties page to learn more.

CBT is an effective and evidence-based approach to treating outdated or unhelpful cognitions and beliefs about self, other, and the world.

As a humanistic theory, Adlerian Therapy aims at understanding a person within their social context, early childhood memories, and is goal-oriented.

Mindfulness-based therapy helps a person become more aware of thoughts, feelings, sensations, and builds skills to help change negative cognitive or behavioral patterns.

Synergetic Play Therapy is a type of play therapy that focuses on nervous system regulation and healing through co-regulation. At this time I only offer play therapy sessions in-person for children under 10.

PCIT is an attachment-based approach that combines social and behavioral learning theories. It allows parent and child to enhance relationship attachment while resourcing a parent with positive parenting strategies.

Taking on a trauma-informed approach means that I acknowledge the impact trauma can have on the human mind, body, and a person’s overall emotional and physical safety.

A feminist lens looks at the world and a person’s situation through a perspective of gender roles, societal expectations, cultural norms and expectations, and power dynamics. This can help a client and therapist understand the inequities a person may be facing.

Questions about working with me
How do you take payment?
I take payments through etransfer. More details will be sent to you via email upon booking.
Do you offer in-person counselling?
At this time I am only offering virtual counselling services. I offer both phone sessions and virtual video sessions (through JaneApp video).
How many sessions do I need?
At the start of therapy we will discuss goals and we will explore what a treatment timeline will look like. You are welcome to book sessions at your convenience through my booking link.
What is your cancellation policy?
I have a 24 hour cancellation notice. You are able to sign up for email reminders and/or text messages when booking.
Do you take insurance?
At this time, I do not direct bill to insurance companies. I offer clients a detailed receipt for reimbursement.
